My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poquito is a 3 year old, cute, little Yorkie/Chihuahua mix. He is a little guy, weighing 4 ¾ lbs. He was recently surrendered by his owner who became homeless and could not find a rental that would accept a dog. His previous owner purchased him as a puppy and saw his parents (mother dog was a black Chihuahua and father dog was a Yorkie).

This little guy loves to cuddle and is perfectly content to travel in a dog transport bag. He went shopping with his foster mom and never made a sound in the store.
For a small dog, Poquito has a very loud bark especially when people approach his foster home or walk by the home. He is quite obedient and comes when called. When Poquito is frightened or fearful of being hurt (trimming his nails at the groomer) he may scream and try to nip. He has no experience with children and prefers adults with time to hold him. In his foster home there are other dogs, and he interacts with them. He prefers people over dogs and is always ready to sit in a lap or cuddle next to a person. After first day, he does well with house training and going outside every couple of hours with other dogs.

Poquito was recently groomed, neutered, received all vaccines and along with a dental cleaning. Now all this loving, little dog needs is an adoptive family.
