Lucas and his siblings came to us from a shelter in NC. We do have both parents but can only guess what breed either parent is so we can only guess on the breed for the puppies. Please remember puppies take time, years of commitment, house training, socialization, medical bills,and most importantly TLC. If you’re ready to take on a new family member for life Lucas might be for you! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
