Now Penny is one special dog. A rescue favorite for sure! On leash, in the car, on the couch... she wants to be with you! She prefers to be an only dog but will greet you with a happy, actual smile, on her face. Penny is a medium size dog -exact breed unknown -maybe a Mountain Feist or something just as beautiful. She cannot be deemed hypoallergenic but she would love to be your constant companion where ever you go.

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.

Go meet their pets

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..
