Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Giant Bell of the giant clock the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London, though the name is frequently referred to the clock tower of London.
Out here at TBC, they also call me Big Ben because I’m just one big ole slobbery 75-pound love bug of doggy. I came here about 6 months ago with my brother, Jerry. I have quickly become one of the staff favorites because of my awesome personality. I think I’m part Boxer, but I’m not really sure. What do you think?
Play – oh heck yeah! I bet I can play fetch until your arm falls off. (Which I certainly don’t want to happen because you wouldn’t be able to play with me anymore!) My favorite toy right now is a giant KONG, but anything I can fetch will be OK by me. And, I’m a perfect gentleman on walks, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE by the way.
I’m going to need a Mom and Dad who are willing to do some extra training with me. I tend to stand up on my back legs to give strangers kisses when I meet them. Even though I would never intentionally hurt anyone, I think it might scare people because I’m so big.
And, since I’m so big, it might be best if I’m in a home with older children.
I’m here at the ranch and waiting for you to come meet me. I promise to be the best doggy ever! If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV

More about this shelter
We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..
