My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Paddy is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed in January of this year with an autoimmune disease called Mediated Thrombocytopenia and Polyarthritis. He has been in treatment and seems to be very close to remission. His meds are reduced every three weeks to where he is now only on one. Paddy is such a good boy! He is great in the car, walks on a leash, good with other dogs, seems to ignore cats. He is very good at the vets and groomers and is also housetrained! Although Paddy's owners have been willing to spend money on his treatment, the husband will NOT allow him in the house. He needs a new home where he can be in out of the heat and cold and be part of a family. At the peak of his illness, his meds were $165 per month but he is off most of them now. Some dogs never have a relapse and some do so monitoring is important. Paddy is a great dog and deserves a real home. If you can find it in your heart to be Paddington's here. please email omlc7@hotmail.com or lorainecm@comcast.net and we will send our application and answer any questions.
