My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Pepper and I was found on the side of the road where I was left to wait for someone to spot me and bring me to Sadie’s Place Rescue.

I can be shy at first when I first meet you, but give me some time and I will warm up to you and beg for attention. The best part is when I get these things called hugs! They are just so warm and loving that I come back for more. I am not very fond of storms so If you require a thunder buddy, I will for sure become yours.

I've been on quite a few outings lately with some temporary fosters and they all love me and say I'm the best girl! I walk nicely on a leash, and I go potty outside. We snuggle a lot in the bed. It's the best!

I am eager to meet my forever family and give them lots of hugs. Please fill out an application or contact Sadie's Place at 903-458-0797 to schedule a time to meet me!

More about this rescue

Sadie’s Place Animal Rescue is a Christian based rescue dedicated to caring for homeless pets in our communities through adoptions, cruelty investigations, community awareness, fostering and caring for companion animals until loving homes can be found.

Named in memory of our beloved Black Lab, Sadie – a shelter dog who became a major part of our family until her death in 2012, we dedicate this mission in her memory. Our organization is totally run by folks who generously volunteer their time, homes and hearts in order to help.
