ZOEY MARTHA

Zoey Martha is a sweet little Momma that had been living on the streets most of her life. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative.

After giving birth on the streets, she kept her puppies safe and lived in the woods. One day Zoey found the courage to trust a human and brought one of her babies out of the woods to get help. Her story is nothing less than amazing just like her. Zoey is in a loving foster home with both big and small dogs. She is shy to new people and does better with women than men, but her foster is working on this. She loves to run and swim in the pond and is learning commands. Zoey does well when kennled up in her run, has lots of fun puppy energy, loves squeaky toys and cheese yaks. Zoey's confidence continues to rise and she is ready to find her forever home.

We require an application. References are checked and a home visit is performed. Placement Director contacts the applicant and discusses the dogs in our program. There will be two meetings between the potential adoptive family and the dog before final transfer. We require a $400.00 adoption fee for Adult Dogs and a $450.00 adoption fee for puppies. This fee covers vaccines, labwork, microchip, and spay/neuter.

Sauver Des Chiens German Shepherd Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based 501(c)3 organization based in Texas. At this time we service Texas and Louisiana. Our passion and our mission is to rescue neglected, unwanted, and abused German Shepherd and Large Paw Dogs with the goal of finding them a new permanent and loving home. All dogs receive full veterinary care, including spay/neuter, positive training and necessary behavior modification before they are ready to adopt. These dogs come from stressful circumstances and are give a few weeks to de-compress before being offered for adoption.
