My story

Mickey was welcomed into our rescue 6 weeks ago and is doing amazingly well in foster care. Since he was moved out of an abusive home he no longer feels the need to protect himself from the people around him. Discovering the root cause of his behaviour and working towards learning to trust again has helped him relax and feel safe, something he hasn't felt in a very long time. Thanks to his amazing foster family he has gone from a very frightened dog to a confident and playful pup. Mickey's wish list is a home with lots of love and attention, adult only home, a toy box stuffed to the top, a backyard to play in and most of all dog savvy people who have owned dogs in the past and understands that it takes time to adjust to a new home again so patience is key.
