Meet Oscar!

Have you ever really liked cats, but really wanted a dog? Oscar is your man.

Oscie, as his foster momma calls him, can get snippy at times but if he is given his space, he doesn't have any issues. He likes to have his crate open at all times to retreat if he is feeling overwhelmed. He also likes to sleep with some sort of stuffed toy at night to give him comfort. Otherwise, you may be woken much earlier than planned with a nice loud bark.

Oscar likes having some furry companions, if even just one to play with. On occasion, Oscar lets out a shrill howl which I suspect is just because he has been startled.

The perfect adopter for Oscar will be patient, allow him his space, and not expect too much too soon. He does not like to snuggle, he likes to get a treat when he is a good boy, he likes his chew and stuffed toys, and he likes a routine. Kids over 12 in the home is preferred to understand boudaries.
