Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roxy is a sweet little girl weighing just 5 pounds. She is 9 years old and is being fostered in Miami Beach, Florida.
Dogs being fostered in Florida must be adopted within the State of Florida.
Updated Bio 7/9/2022:
Sweet Roxy is doing great. While she has luxating patellas in her rear legs, (which is very common in Yorkies), she is able to shake it off and go on her merry way. She is eating well, and just adores being petted and massaged....she is such a lucky gal!
It is more and more clear that Roxy needs a stay-at-home parent who can give her the affection and feeling of security that she craves. Stay tuned for her Bio to be updated once her dental has been completed.
Updated Bio 6/17/2022: Roxy is a tiny bundle of pure love who adores attention and affection. Once she gains your trust, she will be your best friend if you cuddle and rub her little head. One week after having Roxy as my roommate, she has gradually let her guard down and is beginning to trust humans again. This tiny beauty with her big adoring eyes needs to have her new parents around all of the time. She is quite alert and will bark if someone is at the door or if she hears a strange noise. She is walking on her leash like a pro, but we are still working on her potty training. A home with children over 12 is best for Roxy due to her size and personality.
Roxy had her vet visit and the results show that she has early-stage kidney disease. She is on a veterinary diet that will help to slow the process, but the disease is irreversible.
