My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow, and hello out there! My name is Chile and I was rescued along with my four litter mates from a feral colony in Rolla, MO, and brought to the St. Louis area.  We're the Cinco de Mayo litter! I am black and white, with a little more white than the usual tuxedo.  I have always been the smallest in my litter, but I've never let that stop me! I have an insta-purr when touched by a human and enjoy cuddling once I've settled down. I love to investigate whatever my foster mom is doing.  I've never met a dog, but I get along well with other cats.  I love running around and playing with others and would like to be adopted into a home with another playful young cat or with one of my siblings or foster siblings.  I am about 2 years old as of March 2024.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement: The Cat Network is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c) (3), no-kill and life-enhancing cat rescue group. Since 1991, we have rescued and placed thousands of abandoned, abused, stray and shelter cats and kittens in St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas. After their rescue, the cats and kittens are provided medical care, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered. Cats and kittens are kept in foster care and then placed in loving permanent homes whenever possible.
