Rescue Story
Summer was brought to a high kill shelter after a car accident. She had a serious skin infection in multiple places and she was limping because of that injury. Our partner rescuer treated her well and, fortunately, she didn’t need any surgery and recovered well.

About Summer
Summer is a sweet girl who is gentle to everyone, including kids. She doesn’t have any trauma. She has a good manner when she meets other dogs on the street. That means she understands “No” from other dogs and gives them some distance to respect their comfort zone. She loves fetching a ball with her foster mom. She is not a high energy dog since she gets slower after walking 40 minutes. She likes new people and she enjoys being petted by them. She knows how to sit, touch hands, turn, and stay. She knows these commands in Korean, but she will quickly learn them in English.

The veterinarian who treated Summer after accident is fostering her currently.

Medical Notes
She had a minor case of heart worm, but she finished treatment three times. She had a heart worm test in May 2022 and tested negative. She needs another heart worm test in February 2023 for a final check up.
