Charlie is a 16 week old lab/shepherd mix who just came to us from the Riverside Shelter. He is available for adoption in Orange County.

This little guy was found wandering the streets of Riverside at 13 weeks of age. How he survived out there, we will never know. What we do know is that he deserves a home that is willing to go all in on him and be totally committed no matter what. He's survived so much at such a young age, and he deserves his life to be as wonderful as possible from here on out!

Charlie is shy/timid at first but does love to cuddle. He seems to enjoy his crate and feels the safest when he's curled up in there.

Since he is a puppy, he will need a home that is willing to be patient with him and help him learn the basics of training.

We also want to be clear that while Charlie is little now, he is going to grow up to be a BIG dog (and he's probably going to still think he's a lap dog)! So he needs a home that isn't going to be deterred by his soon-to-be large size.

Charlie will be adopted out with a neuter appointment scheduled and the adopter will be required to ensure Charlie is taken to this appointment .
