My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Happy!  I came from Texas looking for a better life and forever home in Minnesota.

I am 1.5 years old.  I am an orange tabby with a white fluffy chest and white paws.  It almost looks like I’m wearing little white socks!  I love to play hide and seek.  I sneak under blankets, hide inside shopping bags and boxes and surprise my foster mom!  I am also a hunter.  I love to play hunting games with wand toys.  I get quite active when playing with my foster mama.  I am also good at playing by myself.  I know how to entertain myself when my foster mama is busy and working.  I can spend hours looking out the window and taking naps.  I’ve never been around dogs, but feel like I can manage if I’m introduced to them slowly and gradually.

I’m pretty shy around people, so I am looking for a home with lots of patience, understanding, and LOVE!  I prefer not to be around small children because I’m very sensitive to noises and easily get scared.

I have lived with 2 foster cats, and we have become best friends!  Being with my new best friends has really helped me cone out of my shell. They bring out the best in me!

If you are looking for a cat buddy for your current feline fur babies - Happy is your man! He is not the kind of cat that is super snuggly with humans, and will probably never want to sit in your lap. But he does love other cats - and does absolutely amazing with them!

More about this rescue

Angel of Hope Animal Rescue works with cats and dogs from animal controls and shelters. Prior to adoption pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, cats are tested for feline leukemia, and dogs are tested for heart worm. At adoption we can help you determine if the pet is a good fit for your home and family. We will share their personalities and quirks with you to help you decide.
