My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet lovely Lily! This gorgeous gal is looking for her forever family, and wants her new people to know these 10 things about her:

1. I am a Mastiff-Lab mix, and I am a senior lady.

2. My previous family didn’t take very good care of me. When I first came to the Bullpen, my skin and coat were a mess. Luckily I have had lots of veterinary care since I got here, and I should be looking better in no time!

3. I am a very social girl and I like almost every new person I meet. I could easily live in a home with kids older than 5, as long as they had some previous experience/training with big dogs.

4. I’ve met lots of big dogs at the Bullpen, and I don’t mind them one bit. I would like it if my new home had a large male dog for me to pal around with!

5. I used to live in a home with small dogs, and I don’t like them one bit.

6. I’m unsure if I can live in a home with cats, so a feline-free family might be the best fit for me.

7. The words that best describe me are calm, easy-going, and gentle.

8. My favorite things to do are eating, hanging with humans and napping.

9. I am perfectly housebroken and crate-trained. I am good on a leash and I also know basic obedience!

10. I am fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, spayed, and microchipped.

Ready to give Lily the forever home of her dreams? Fill out our Adoption Application, located at www.bullpenrescue.org under the 'work with us' tab.

We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
