My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SUMMER SPECIAL...Get Your Kitten READY TO GO!

ADOPTION LINK: http://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/
(It may refer to "dogs" because that is our primary rescue, but we are fine with using it for cats.)

In foster in Lacey, WA

We transported the litter from TX to the PNW so the adoption fee is very low since it also includes transport, spay/neuter, appropriate shots, microchipping, etc.

CODY (male)... and the rest of the litter... are super friendly, playful, and in-your-face adorable. We were lucky to get them AND mama to let them get all the loving and cuddling only a mama can give. They are 3 mos old, DOB 4/1/22. They are extremely inquisitive and the couple of times they did escape their kennel (my fault) I was able to easily catch them... they had no fear, just a want to explore. In my experience, I have found male cats to be and stay the most playful and loving ... much more so than females. The trick, of course, is to neuter them young before they find out what life is all about.

These kittens have been around a lot of noise. This includes dogs although they have not met nose-to-nose. All I can say is... they have no fear.

FOSTER'S COMMENTS: Cody is in foster with two cats and two dogs. All his siblings have now been adopted but him. He's very affectionate and very sweet and cuddly. You will adore him so please do apply. He's a quiet kitten who seems content to let his brothers go first most of the time. He is a mighty hunter, though! If Cody was a character in a book, he'd be that kid from My Side of the Mountain: quiet but not afraid; competent but not a big shot.

The Adoption Fee covers all of the medical (neutering, 3 vaccinations including Leukemia & Rabies, routine deworming), microchipping, and transport from Texas. This kitten was raised in a house in a kennel with his mother until he was 7 weeks old which gave him all the "mothering" he needed.

PLEASE FILL OUT THE APPLICATION. Where ever it talks about dogs...think cats.

GET IN LINE FIRST: If you are interested in this kitten, please fill out the application (link listed above). The rescue will contact you once the application is received. Although we strive to answer everyone, due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, we cannot guarantee a response to all emails. Filling out the application is the ONLY way to ensure a response from the rescue. In addition, while you are emailing us, if others apply, you lose out adopting the kitten you chose. We try to make it as easy as possible for you but if you are applying or have applied anywhere else, we do need to know that, too.
