Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gotham, a 5-year-old Doberman Pinscher who is looking for his forever home!
Gotham is a black and rust Dobie who is neutered. He has natural ears and a docked tail. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. He is currently being cared for by the Doberman Pinscher Rescue of PA.
Despite his smaller size for a Doberman, Gotham has a heart full of love to give! There’s nothing more he loves than getting some pets and attention from his people. He is very affectionate and friendly towards familiar children, other dogs, and cats. He also behaves wonderfully in a crate and is housebroken. Gotham is current being fostered with 3 dogs, 4 kids and a chinchilla.
When it comes to other unknown dogs and people, Gotham will need supervised, pre-planned introductions. He will also need time to decompress when brought into a new home, so patience and love is key. Gotham can become fixated on lights, shadows, and reflections, leading to frustration. Positive redirection and mental and physical exercise will be needed to curb this behavior.
