What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Samantha (Sam) is almost 4 years old. She has been with our family since she was 7 weeks. She was raised with 2 cat sister who she loves to chase and cuddle but has never been aggressive toward. Sam loves to cuddle and will give "hugs" by leaning hard on you if you let her on your lap. Her favorite game is tug and toss. She is very food motivated and very smart. She know basic commands and was trained to ring a bell when she wants outside.
Sam is a great guard dog and always wants a job to do. She LOVES WATER and will do anything to be able to play and splash.
She is NOT good with small children which is why we are rehoming her. We have two small children that she does not respect and will growl at. She sees herself as being above the kids in the pack. We have gone through an abundance of training and have yet to be able to break her negative behavior toward our children. We know she will be great for the right family, as long as the kids are older.
