Pippin requires a home with an experienced owner who can provide him with a strict daily routine. He thrives on consistency and would do best in a home without other pets or young children. His neurological issues make him sensitive to changes, so a predictable environment is crucial for his well-being! His favorite toys? Balls and squishy toys. He`ll even drop them at your feet for more fetch!
What Pippin Needs:
Experienced Owner: Pippin needs someone who understands special needs dogs and is ready to provide a bit extra training and care.
Routine: A strict daily routine helps Pippin feel secure and avoid overstimulation.
Leash Requirements: He loves walks and playtime, especially tug-o-war, but will need a chain or cable leash for safety. Interactions: Pippin can interact with smaller dogs and cats but finds larger dogs intimidating. He would prefer to be the only pet in the household to avoid resource guarding and to ensure he feels secure.

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
