My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BEAU
DOB 9/5/17
IN CENTRAL TX
ABOVE GROUND FENCED YARD
https://www.southcentralbloodhounds.org/adoption-1
Beau is looking for his new home due to ongoing conflicts with the original resident dog. We've tried to fix the problem but sometimes dogs just do not like each other and we cannot fix that. He does well with other dogs, just not his house-mate.
Beau went to a new home and the difference in him was amazing.
Due to circumstances that the home faced he had to leave and since being back with the original family, who loves him and is devastated witnessing this, he is now showing signs of depression at the tension he experiences.
Beau is very loving, funny, sweet, and mostly well-mannered. He enjoys carrying his "lovey" around the house.
He also loves to talk (and howl)!
He's good with children but does not like to be hugged or held onto by them. He is fine with the cats in the home, he mostly ignores them.
Beau does need a tall fence (or one with an external electric wire-not an underground fence) as he's been known to go over the shorter ones. He does love to be outside.
He is not food aggressive, is house-trained, and has good house manners. We do not know if he will do well crated, training would need to be done slowly and correctly.
