The Sundance (ID#22042) Kitten, also known as Sunny, is a sweet girl who enjoys playing in tunnels and boxes. She gets her name because half of her face is orange, like the sun is shining on it! She likes to explore, though is a little shyer than her siblings and will often let them take the lead. She really enjoys chasing balls around her room and will even play fetch! Sundance will let you hold her, but is more comfortable coming to you for snuggles. She's always busy wanting to go and doesn't like to sit still for too long. Sundance would make a great companion for an older cat since she likes to be with them and is very gentle when she plays. She has been around a small cat-friendly dog and enjoyed his company. She's also met guinea pigs (caged) and done well with them.
Please note: Cats and kittens are social creatures and greatly benefit from being with other pets; therefore, kittens under the age of 6 months cannot be adopted as single pets.
All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
