Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are looking for an incredibly sweet and gentle dog, look no further. Aspen is a young female from Northern Manitoba. She was a stray, so her history is unknown. What we do know is that Aspen is a lovely, affectionate, sweet, friendly, playful and curious girl. She walks well on a leash. Her energy level/exercise needs are medium. She is quite satisfied with and loves a couple of walks a day and some play time. She does not present with any behavioural issues and does not shed. Aspen bonds quickly to her humans and wants to be wherever they are. She loves her toys and can entertain herself playing with them. She is very food motivated making training a breeze. Aspen has some dermatitis on her head which is clearing up. It is not contagious and does not require any treatment other than a medicated bath when required.
Our best guess to her lineage appears to be a GSD/Collie cross. As with most of the Northern dogs, their exact breed makeup is difficult to determine without a DNA test.
