My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gryph is a 1.5 years. At first he may seem shy but don't let that fool you! He is a big goofy guy who would love to have a family of his own. Gryph loves being part of the action. He loves to play and do zoomies. He is very smart and catches on quickly. He loves performing tricks and putting his own spin on each one, making them his own. So fully of personality! Gryph would do best in a home with older children and no cats.

We have adoption clinic on the 1st Saturday of each month from 11a-2pm at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the southern end of the Spouts Market parking lot volunteer staffing/weather permitting.

We can also make arrangements for a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with approved applications. You can complete and easy online application here:

The $250 adoption fee covers S/N, microchip, vaccines and heartworm/tic borne illness testing.

More about this rescue

People’s Anti Cruelty Association / Albuquerque Animal Rescue (PACA), a No-Kill rescue group, was founded in 1973. Our main mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehouse homeless dogs and cats. PACA has no shelter facility and relies on an organized network of foster parents who graciously take animals into their homes and hearts until permanent homes are found.
