Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
** If you are interested in Mama, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ **
Low rider alert!!! Mama is a stumpy, short legged, long bodied Bassett Hound / Rat Terrier mix. We think Mama is the cutest breed mix ever! She is 1 year old and only 26lbs. Mama's foster calls her "Squatty Girl" because of how low to the ground she is with those legs.
This girl didn't always have an easy life, she was a single mom that couldn't afford to care for herself, let alone a litter of puppies! Mama was found in Arkansas on the streets while pregnant. She was taken into a foster home, and had a litter of beautiful puppies. Her pups have all been adopted, and now Mama is ready to come to colorful Colorado to find her forever home.
*We want to make it clear that Mama's breasts will shrink back down to normal! She just finished nursing recently.*
Mama is incredibly adorable and friendly to the world. She does great with other dogs, and all humans she has met. Her foster home does have children (aged 8+) and she loves them.
With any rescue, moving from a shelter to a foster to an adoptive home can be very confusing. When an adopting family is sensitive to the challenges of change and acclimation for these dog's, the transition is far easier. A home with a very loving and nurturing family that understands that blossoming takes time would be perfect home for a rescue dog. Given the time and space, these dogs shine.
Farfel's Rescue feel very strongly that every dog deserves the opportunity for formal, positive reinforcement/force-free training classes that are virtual or in-person. We therefore aren't willing to adopt to a home that doesn't choose to offer this training opportunity. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved positive reinforcement/force-free virtual or in-person trainers in your area.
Mama is healthy, happy, and up to date on all of her vaccines. She is spayed and ready to settle down in her forever home.
Mama arrives to Farfel's Rescue from Arkansas on July 13th, 2022. Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful pup. If interested in this gorgeous, very cuddly/sweet and loving best friend, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit.
**PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder, Rescueme and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving puppy. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
