Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTERED IN: Chicago, IL 60647
ESTIMATED DOB: 02/03/2022
COLOR/BREED: Tabby and White Shorthair
KIDS: 13+
DOGS: Yes
CATS: No
HISTORY:
Benjamin came to us from an underserved area in Louisiana. Benjamin was adopted out as a kitten, but as he grew up he became less fond of other cats and had to be returned for not getting along with the resident cat.
ABOUT:
Benjamin is a sweet, loving, and spunky-yet-chill cat. He loves to jump and run during playtime, but also loves to veg out in the evenings with his foster family. Benjamin likes to use his words to talk with his foster family, especially during the preparation of his wet food. Benjamin is outgoing and is happy to introduce himself to visitors and strangers.
Benjamin is being fostered with older children. He loves to interact and play games/toys with them including wand toys and the laser pointer. He occasionally gets spunky when he gets too excited, so homes with children 13+ are best. Benjamin would not find an active home with kids and people coming and going overwhelming, it might even be fun. He is happy to play and snuggle with anyone who is available. He even enjoys belly rubs. When no one is available to play with Benjamin he is happy to entertain himself by batting his balls and other toys around.
Through Benjamin’s previous adoption we have learned that he prefers to be an only cat. His current foster home recently adopted a 7 month old dog. After controlled introductions Benjamin has shown to be willing to adapt to homes with cat friendly dogs as long as he is given an appropriate acclimation period.
