PORKCHOP makes us smile! Little is known of his previous life – he was found in an alleyway in Baltimore with a “wound of unknown origin”. The bite wound on his under arm has healed completely and he has completed his mandatory 4 month quarantine and is officially available for adoption. The intake veterinarian estimated that Porkchopwas approximately five years old – if this is so, he is a very young five! Porkchop is full of puppy energy! Porkchop is deaf (as white/Merle dogs often are) but his pretty blue eyes can see just fine. Porkchop is good with other dogs but needs a tolerant dog that will put up with his boisterous nature. A patient dog that will show him the ropes and be his “ears” would be ideal. Porkchop is great with people but due to his deafness we would rather not place him in a home with a toddler or small child that might accidentally startle him. We would love for his new family to take him through a basic obedience course and work on hand signals. Porkchop is a smart boy and willing to learn! Porkchop has been neutered & vaccinated and will be mi to hopped and heartworm tested prior to adoption.
