My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little cutie patoot is CHIP, a 9 year old mix who joined the rescue when his owner sadly passed away. He's around 30lbs but needs to lose a few. We aren't sure what his mix is but he has a beagle-ish body and a spaniel like face and doesn't seem to shed. Chip is very pleasant and easy going. He LOVES food, hanging out in the yard, and taking walks around the neighborhood.  Chip is an early riser and likes to start his day around 6:30 AM, so if you're a night owl he might not be the pup for you.  He takes Phenobarbital for seizures but the condition is well managed. He will need routine bloodwork to keep an eye on his levels - usually recommended every 6 months for maintenance. Dog, cat, and kid friendly! Senior pup lovers can apply at www.companimals.org. Excellent vet refs are a must! Adoption $200.  Chip has been vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms and is on prevention.
