Foster location: Star ID
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Age: 1 year
Adoption Fee: 25.00
Spayed, Vaccinated, microchipped
Margarita is a true and classic beauty. Her white fur, brown tabby markings and stripe tail make her a unique darling. She has the clearest and most beautiful gold eyes. Margarita came into foster with her 4 babies in tow and has been an absolute amazing Mama cat. She has been utterly devoted to her sweet babies and even accepted a 5th kitten who was found alone. She is still completely devoted to her kittens and cry’s desperately when she is separated from them. Margarita MUST be adopted with her favorite kitten Paloma (her little shadow).
A perfect family for Margarita would have a quiet home, a calm family and people who can give her the time and space she needs to settle in. Margarita gets along great with other cats but is especially bonded to her daughter Paloma. Preference will be given to a family willing to adopt them together.
Margarita does not enjoy being held but she adores being adored. Time spent talking to her, telling her she’s a beauty, sharing irresistible cat snacks will result in lots of head butts and requests for pets. She is very curious about new things places and people but does not want to be forced into any interactions. She loves a sunbeam and a cat tree, but mostly she loves being with her kittens.
Margarita has done well with the dogs in her foster home after an appropriate introduction, and would be fine in a home with a cat friendly dog.
Margarita is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is looking now for her forever family.

More about this rescue
We are a group of animal lovers banded together to rescue unwanted dogs and cats that are in shelters and pounds located throughout Idaho. Our non-profit rescue places each animal into our foster home program while we search for forever homes for them. We supply all vet care, food, toys, bedding; really anything they need while in our care.
We focus on those animals that are considered “hard to adopt” for various reasons; like kennel stress, having a black coat, being over 8 years old, etc. Often a foster home rather than a shelter environment helps give many of these animals a second chance at the life they deserve!
We relay on community donations and individuals willing to be foster care givers in order to continue our work.
