Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there! I am a 1-year-old black and tan Chihuahua x who just arrived in Calgary on February 4th, 2010! I am very friendly and outgoing and need a home without cats. I am a little underweight right now, but with a good diet and proper meals, I should fill in more! I am a little food aggressive towards other dogs and protective of my people, I like to think of myself as bigger than I am! I like to cuddle up to the dog in my foster home and get along well with people. I am working on my housetraining and always like to be beside people! I don't play with toys a lot, but love bones! I seem to be smart and really sweet! I am a social little guy and like to play with the dog in my foster home. I am doing very well on my housetraining and have been told I will make someone a great companion.
Please note that Little Mutts Rescue adoption fees are generally $400 for adults, and $450 for puppies. Includes spay / neuter, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchip, and a vet certificate of health (please note that if puppies are born in Calgary, we do not have a vet certificate to provide). If you are interested, please submit an adoption application - http://www.littlemuttsrescue.org/adopt/index.html
