My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Eliza! Eliza is a beautiful and unique Abbitab - a mix of Abyssinian ticking with a tabby tail - with colors of brown, oranges, and black. She was found last February as a young kitten in town, living with her brother, Toby under a shed. She and Toby are bonded and they must be adopted together. Adopt one, get one free.

Eliza is very curious and likes to come into the room to see what you are doing and rub up against you. She likes to be pet, but is not yet fond of being picked up. She is just deciding that she likes and can trust people. Brother Toby likes to watch from the sidelines, occasionally allowing to be pet. Toby loves a nice sunny spot on a climber to lounge and look out the window. They have been through a lot together and will need a patient, quiet, low activity home where they can bloom.

Both Eliza and Toby are spayed and neutered, have received 2 FVRCP vaccines, a rabies vaccine, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and are microchipped with a lifetime registration. Interested? Questions? Please email us at GoodMews22@aol.com or call 540.717.4420.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires you filling out an approved adoption application, meeting your future family member, and signing a contract. Fees vary depending on the cat - their socialibility, age, and how long they have been looking for their furrever home. Fees range from $35 to $65. All cats are spayed/neutered, feline leukemia tested negative, and have had their first set of vaccines.

More about this rescue

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
