Nikki
Say hello to this sweet senior girl. Nikki is 9 years old and 11 pounds. We think she is a Rat Terrier.
She has been through a lot of vetting, poor baby. Mammary masses were removed, dental procedures, and a lot of lab work have been done. All records will be provided. She has Cushing's disease, which is a common problem of the adrenal gland, and she has a medication for it. Indications of that are that she always thinks she's hungry and she has a bloated looking belly.
You'll have to be the 'food police'. We find adding vegetables to her meals and using low calorie foods keeps her happy. Nikki is housetrained and energetic, with good vision and hearing. She loves to be in your lap and she needs very little, if any, grooming. Just an occasional mani-pedi.
Nikki is looking for a safe comfy home for the years she has left.
She is being fostered in Largo, Florida, being loved and cared for as part of the family.
