Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meowllo, everyone. My name is Lucy and unfortunately, I have a devastating backstory. I was dropped off at someone’s doorstep with my babies, Frankie and Grace, in poor health and significant pain. I was missing a large portion of my tail and bone was left protruding. Upon seeing a veterinarian, they made the decision to amputate my tail.
Regardless of what I have been through, I am not afraid of humans. Although I am still a bit skittish around unfamiliar faces, I have grown to become a playful, talkative little girl. I am super affectionate upon getting to know you, too. Soon enough, I will be asking you for pets by pawing or headbutting you. She even enjoys cuddling with her trusted humans.
While the exact circumstances of my backstory are still a mystery, I find comfort in knowing that I will have a furever home that will not inflict similar pain onto me. A home that will also respect my wishes of not being picked up, giving me time to properly adjust and working with me to help me continue to grow.
If you would like to be my furever companion while also experiencing the rewarding feeling of watching me come out of my shell, you can apply to adopt me by visiting here: https://www.petsaliveniagara.ca/site/blog/2022/03/16/adoptable-cat-lucy
