Hi there. I was found as a stray in Staunton, IL. I was found in a grassy area, panting heavily and not doing well. And, even though I was microchipped, my owners' phone was disconnected. My picture was seen by over 4,000 people, but my owner never came to take me home.
I'm so confused about what happened. I'm about 9 years old, and never thought I'd be living in an animal shelter. But, they are taking care of me. My normally pretty long coat was a matted mess, so they had me groomed. Now I have a sexy lion-cut! And, with time, my pretty fur will grow back and I'll be a sharp-dressed man!
I'm a very big (almost 14lbs!), very friendly guy---and I just hope that you will want a handsome best friend. I'll love you whether you are handsome or not. 💕
