Meet Kobe! This little bundle of love likes to cuddle, play and jump over some impressive obstacles!
He and his 2 siblings were found dumped at a basketball court in the Dominican Republic at about 5-6 weeks old. At this time, there were found cold, scared and wet as the thunderstorm grew stronger and stronger. Luckily our rescue partners found them and took them home. Unfortunately, it was too late for the sister and she did not survive. His other sibling has now discovered the good life and is at their forever home in Canada.
Kobe is now approx. 7 months old and is looking for an active owner who can spoil him with long walks, enjoy engagement training activities, understands how to introduce Kobe to new environments/people while entering the home and can set boundaries.
He’s a sweet boy who loves to be trained and is food driven. His foster mama has taught him to ”sit”, “come” and is working on how to “stay”. Kobe is a social little man and likes adventures and his person! He’s great with other dogs, cats and kids. He also loves his home and will need an owner who understands how his introductions need to be conducted while entering the home.
Kobe’s foster mama has been teaching him how to walk nicely on a leash using engagement training techniques. He’s using his crate for longer periods of time and using “outside” as well as peepads to release.
We think Kobe may still be growing, but will be around the 10-15lbs size full grown.
