Hound Mix
Dogs: Fiona has spent a lot of time with another dog in our care. They shared space together in Kentucky and now get to play together in our yard at our shelter.
Cats: Unknown - she can be tested

Petfinder recently changed their settings to only allow Yes or No for house training. Fiona's house training is unknown. We have not seen Fiona in a home setting but when left loose in her room she doesn't have accidents so that is a good sign!

Fiona is a happy-go-lucky puppy. She’s a young girl so she’s energetic and eager for your attention. She will do play bows around you until you pay attention to her and give her love. She bonds with people easily.

She will need a little bit of manners training as she does jump up on you to say hi. But since she’s a medium-sized girl, it is easy to manage.

Fiona would love a family who will keep her active, give her lots of affection, and keep her social with other pups.

We do not adopt on a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches.

Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $450 which covers the costs of vetting (spay, vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives while in our care, deworming and microchip) and any boarding or transport fees incurred in each dog's rescue. Senior dogs are $250.
