Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

2 year old, 65 lb. male
Redbone Coonhound
Dogs: When he first meets a dog, he is very eager and excited to play. But once he understands the other dog's play style, he settles down. He will do best with dogs his size or confident dogs who are comfortable playing with this big dude.
Cats: No cats - Copper thinks they are snacks.
Copper has the entire package…he’s incredibly good-looking and is an intelligent guy. Copper is very food motivated and already knows how to sit and lay down. He should learn new things pretty quickly when there is food involved!
Copper is your typical hound when it comes to smelling absolutely everything he can. He’d probably make for a fun adventure buddy as long as you’re okay with him stopping to take in all of his surroundings with his hound nose.
He is goofy and likes to chase tennis balls in the play yard. When he first got here, he didn’t know how to play with toys. Now he’s got it figured out! While he enjoys zooming around the yard with our volunteers, we often catch him relaxing and sunbathing and will welcome cuddles.

We do not adopt on a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches.
Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $450 which covers the costs of vetting (spay, vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives while in our care, deworming and microchip) and any boarding or transport fees incurred in each dog's rescue. Senior dogs are $250.
