Holy Guacamole are you ready for your heart to melt?! Meet our favorite boy, Bentley!

This guy was surrendered to our center because his former guardian was having their grandchildren stay with them for the Summer. As he had previously displayed signs of being protective over his food, his person did not feel equipped to manage his care around the children. So very sad. All he wanted was to feel safe while he enjoys his meals & snacks.

He is a very sweet and shy boy from our observations, and he loves squeaky toys. Heck, he loves ALL toys! This little 10lb (or so) man would be perfect for someone who can spend time with engaging him with play, stimulating him mentally with training, and be mindful of his behavior around others. He's just 2 years old and he deserves it all!

We have not had the chance to check Bentley out with other dogs or cats but we sure can for a serious adopter. Also, kids over 10 may be considered so long as they are polite to animals and understand their boundaries, ques & needs.
