Serena (aka Little Lilly) ended up at the shelter with several other housemates. All were very shy, but super sweet. She has come along way in the months since she was rescued, but will require a patient, dog experienced home to help her continue to flourish. A home with another social dog would be preferred.

Sweet little Lilly is finally coming out of her shell. This gentle young gal originally came from a neglectful situation, but she’s been making huge strides and gaining more confidence each day. She needs a pup-parent who can bring out her full personality and further socialize her while promoting more trust in humans. She still needs to learn some basic commands, but she’s treat-motivated and already excellent walking on a leash. She also knows how to use a dog door. We believe that she’s ready for the next level of training.
Lilly is still a tad timid in new situations, but lately she’s been displaying her loving and playful side. Recently, she’s been approaching her foster parents for special attention, pets and scratches. She also gets along great with other dogs and loves to play and chase. She does have one quirky but cute hobby…a slight hoarding obsession. Lol! She loves to collect toys and other objects from around the house to store in her (not to secret) hiding pile.
All in all, sweet Lilly just needs a loving individual or family to help her navigate this brave new world of becoming a pet…a setting that’s been unfamiliar from her neglectful pack upbringing. She’s ready to learn what it truly means to be loved. You’ll appreciate her mild-mannered and low-maintenance demeanor. As a special bonus, she comes with a petit frame and an easy-to-manage short coat! Her coloring is gorgeous with stunning brown eyes, and a sleek cappuccino coat (black with a brown undercoat).
