My story

Hey there, I’m blue! I’m an approximately 2-year-old golden retriever mix. I was rescued from a shelter in Utah with hopes that I may want to become a detection dog but, I’d prefer to just hang around instead of having to work so hard. I do like to play fetch unless there are too many other fun smells, then I get a little distracted. I’m a bit shy when you first meet me but, as soon as I warm up to you and we establish a bond, I will never leave your side. I need a person or two to call my own and I promise to fill your life with love and laughter. Older teens would be okay but, no children please! I’m happy to meet other medium-large dogs and see how we get along but, would prefer no small siblings please. I’m a super sweet complete love-bug. I enjoy going on walks, being loved on, playing, and just hanging out. I so excited to meet you!
