Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jimmy. He is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. We believe his shyness may have been due to some abuse in the past since he tends to duck/crouch low when he sees strangers but at the same time you can see his desire to engage/get attention. Once he knows you, he is just the sweetest fellow and so happy. Jimmy gets along with other dogs and loves to run and play. We do not know what he thinks about cats. Jimmy is about 3-4 years old and 49 pounds. Please help Jimmy find the family he deserves.
Update: In the past, Jimmy had tested positive for Lyme's but has long since been treated for it. He is ready and would be so happy to go home with you!
We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).
Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Jimmy's adoption fee is $300. This also covers all age-appropriate shots, spay/neuter, vetting & microchipping.
**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day.
