My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

From Paul Adler's Foster Mom: Paul Adler here, or as my foster family likes to call me "Frank the Tank". They apparently call me this, because I hold my own and will push through the big dogs for attention, treats, playing fetch and pay no mind to the fact they are all much taller than me, Doodles 🙄.

I have tons of personality; I absolutely love to get pets and play fetch. I am potty-trained, crate trained and love to lay around napping (I take over the biggest bed in the house even though I have one they bought me, take that doods). I sleep every night on the big dog bed at the door of my fosters parents' bedroom.

I was born with a congenital defect called Peritoneopericardial diaphragmatic hernia (PPDH), simply put my intestines are herniated by my heart. I have been living with this since I was born 7 years ago and it was only found by an allergic reaction to a medicine. My foster mom will make sure my new family knows so I never get that again.

Sometimes if I play too hard, I start to snort and breath heavy but it's nothing to be worried about, after a few minutes of rest I return to my adorable piggy Frenchie sounds. I have been living the past few months with several dogs in the house and have done great but I would really love a home either with only one dog my size or someone that wants to just spoil me as their only pup just so I don't play as hard. I have been around kids and I do good but sometimes I get really excited when playing fetch and try to jump up so I really think would prefer a home without small kids. I have never met a cat so I'm not sure about them but if they like to cuddle I'm totally in. Did I tell you I love cuddles? I look forward to cuddling with my new family.
