My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are seeking a sweet, petite pal who loves laps and as well as long walks, Jasmine is your girl! Jasmine is an 11lb. Chihuahua mix with long legs and a deer-like build.  She'll melt your heart with her deep chocolate eyes and extremely soft, sleek coat. 

She is looking for a loving home with a gentle soul that will help her build confidence and learn basic manners. Despite her delicate looks, she enjoys running and is playful with other small dogs. She'll need a little leash work to stop circling your feet as you go. Big dogs, big noises, and too many people can scare her, but she's shown a willingness to adapt once she learns she is safe (she now is fine with a big cat she initially found terrifying). She will also need a little more help with house training, but does well with regular trips outside.

She's is quite shy at first but once she warms up she'll be your #1 fan. Like most Chihuahuas, she'll key in on "her" person. Fortunately she has a big heart as she holds plenty of love for others in the household as well. She's shown a high tolerance for kids and is easily handled, but would probably do best with a small family or mellow home as she can get overwhelmed. She would be fine with another small but wants to be your main squeeze. 

Jasmine is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Her adoption fee is $325. She is being fostered in North Portland
