Lucy came into rescue with 3 kittens. She was shy and reclusive for awhile, but has grown into a sweet, affectionate and appreciative cat. She is a lovely girl who deserves to be taken care of by a special family. She is unsure of people at first, but will warm up to a kind and sensitive owner.j These last months she has developed a bond with another of our cats, Mr. Knightly. This is a HUGE step forward in the social progress for both of these cats and we do not want to separate them. It's hard to find a good friend in this world and Lucy and Knightly both deserve to keep the friendship. We ask they be adopted together. We are looking for a kind heart to offer them a home together.
There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is much appreciated and much needed. Cash or check only - we do not take credit cards.

More about this rescue
Friends of Plumas County Animals is a non profit 501(c)3 organization We are dedicated to improving the lives of the animals who come into our rescue and to reducing the number of unwanted/homeless animals through spay and neuter programs. When we volunteered at the local county shelter we built outdoor enclosures and play yards for the dogs and cats. Currently, Friends takes animals into our own rescue site where we spay and neuter animals who are above 4 months old and then re-home the animals. When we have the available monies we also help those in need of financial assistance spay and neuter their personal pets. Our adoptable animals are offered with no adoption fee to approved homes, and we survive on the generous donations of our adopters and supporters.
