Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Felix
Male
Border Collie mix
13 months old
55lbs
Felix was adopted from animal control as a puppy. We were actually interested in pulling him when he was a puppy but were told he had an adopter that wanted him. Felix was turned into our rescue earlier this year because his owner could no longer keep him because they moved somewhere without a fence. Felix kept running off and the neighbors shot at him and said next time they were going to shoot and kill him. We knew he looked familiar and that is when we put two and two together that this is a dog we wanted to rescue from animal control and were told no.... Well he was turned into us and unfortunately for him heartworm positive! Poor guy has been bounced around from a home, to shelter, to a home, to a rescue and now we are hoping this next home will be his FOREVER!
Felix is good with most other dogs, crate trained but housetrained is unknown. He loves to play in the water.
Up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, just finished heartworm treatment and on prevention, on flea and tick prevention.
