My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!**

Hi, it's me - Finch. I’m one of the pups from the Little Birdie’s litter. I am looking for my furever family. Don't get me wrong – I love my foster family – they are super duper. But each night, I go to sleep and dream of what my foster mom calls my Furever Family. She says they will play with me (I love to play), and snuggle with me (I REALLY love to snuggle), and they will love me forever and ever. My foster mom says I am a great catch! I love other dogs, I love to play with toys, and I love to be with people. I have this big heart full of sunshine that I just want to share. Can I share it with you? Finch is currently being fostered in Eatonton, and he is about ready to move on to his furever home.

Finch's mom is a sweet Hound mix, about 75 lbs., and dad is unknown. Based on the pups’ weights now, their dad is likely a smaller dog and we don’t think that they will get as big as their mama. And although Mama Robin is tan and white, the puppies are a variety of colors. The pups came into the rescue’s care at about 5 weeks old. They are happy, healthy puppies and they will be completely vetted prior to adoption - spayed/neutered and microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, worming, and both heartworm and flea / tick prevention. They are energetic pups who will need their families to make sure they have adequate time to give her plenty of exercise and play time! And of course, training – to make sure that they grow up to be good family members. Our rescue also requires that each adopter's current pets are up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives. All animals in your household should also be spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason to keep them from being altered.

If you are interested in making Finch or one of the other Little Birdies pups part of your family, please visit the link below to fill out an application! It is best to submit an application through a computer. We have experienced some problems when applications have been submitted using a mobile device. When you submit the application, you are not obligated to adopt; however, it does put you in the queue for the puppy that you are interested in. To expedite the process, please make sure that you complete the application entirely – listing the names and phone numbers for your references (personal as well as vet and landlord, if applicable). If you have any questions, please contact us – we’d be glad to help!
