Intake Date: 15 June 2022 ----- Age at intake: 8-9 yrs ----- Breed: Molly Mule -- ----- Status: Kill Pen save ----- Suitable for: Pasture Pet home. Needs companion animals, does get worked up when alone ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: Underweight. Lame on rear right leg. Grade 2 Heart Murmur ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Ruth! This girl is a big and BEAUTIFUL kind soul. She has such a gentle spirit. She came to rescue from a kill pen and was saved in the nick of time. She arrived very sore on one back foot and the farrier tended to her right away. She had an abscess in the hoof and the rest of her hooves needed maintenance as well. The vet is unsure if the injury is her hoof or her stifle so time will tell as we tend to her. She will likely be a great companion animal and pasture pet. She has shown us nothing but a gentle spirit even in pain and was a doll for the farrier too. She will likely never be suitable for work or riding, but she's still a best friend!
