Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Intake Date: 17 June 2022 ----- Age at intake: 6 wks ----- Breed: Lab or pointer terrier mix ----- Size: 10 lbs ----- Status: owner surrender ----- Compatible with: Other dogs, cats, children. ----- Suitable for: home with a securely fenced yard. No exceptions ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted yet. Taken from mother and siblings at 4 wks old, so will lack bite inhibition, etc. Must be taught it ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Luca! This little peanut came to rescue at just 6 wks old, far too young. He bit the baby of the household which is very expected when rehomed at 4 weeks of age. Everything is explored through the mouth and there is no mom or siblings to say "ouch" and correct it. So we are! He is playing so well with our sons. A foster would be great with another dog or two to assist him in his development! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is mandatory.
