Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Intake Date: 10 June 2022 ----- Age at intake: 2 yrs ----- Breed: Beagle ----- Size: 30 lbs ----- Status: pound/owner reclaim expiration ----- Compatible with: Other dogs, cats, children. ----- Suitable for: home with a securely fenced yard. No exceptions ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: will dig if left alone. Resource guarding ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Franklin! This handsome beagle mix came to FBS when his time at the pound expired. He is a busy beagle true to their nature. This boy is good with other dogs, but prefers smaller dogs. He does require proper intros but that is easy to do. He is currently in a foster home with pet rats and he seems very intrigued by them and not aggressive. He does dig when left alone in a yard so some training for that would be good. Otherwise, he is a nice and happy guy! We do feed everyone separately at rescue and recommend the same for an adopter to avoid his resource issues if unsure how to train out of them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is mandatory.
