Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cheddar is ready to make your life extra cheesy! This tuxedo lady was trapped during a TNR project, and was eager to show us just how friendly she is (i.e. making biscuits in her trap during her intake exam). She is a very affectionate and playful cat who will always want to be around you. She has an adorable meow and will chirp and lovingly growl while getting pets. She LOVES belly rubs too! Her other favorite thing are fluffy fleece blankets. She is still occasionally skittish with loud noises and fast movements (understandable), so slow and steady is the way to win her heart. Cheddar also enjoys being gently picked up and held and loves to play with string toys.
It is important to note that Cheddar is positive for FIV. The virus in FIV weakens a cats immune system, but a cat can go on for years without experiencing any symptoms. Although this does sound intimidating, cats with FIV can live really long, healthy lives with proper care (regular trips to the vet, a good diet, etc). Check out our Instagram post about cats with FIV.
