This sweet baby was dumped at a school playground. Thankfully, one of our fosters got to him right away! Sheldon is a very calm and loving pup. He is very quiet, very rarely barks. Sheldon loves to be with his people and give kisses any chance he gets. He is also the best cuddler. Sheldon gets along with all dogs and humans he has been in contact with. He is very good with kids of all ages. He loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home, chase is his favorite but will also entertain himself with soft squeaky toys.Sheldon is kennel trained and almost completely potty trained. Sheldon is learning basic commands and how to walk on a leash. He is very laid back and very curious. Sheldon is very adaptable to any situation.. Since he is a puppy, house training is still in process, but he's getting the hang of it.
All puppies under the age of 6 months require socialization and obedience classes.
Sheldon travels to Wisconsin on 6/26!
**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above.
Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
